1. Who we are

Zoe is the trade name of Zoe The Happiness, a sole proprietorship in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Email: hello@zoethehappiness.com.

2. Prices and quotes

Prices on this website are starting prices, except the Zoe Vet Suite Clinic plan, which is fixed. Before you pay anything, we send a written quote with the work, the price, the dates and what is not included. If this page and your quote differ, the quote applies to your order.

Applicable taxes, if any, are shown in your written quote.

3. Payment

We take payment through Razorpay payment links and Razorpay subscriptions. For one-time work you pay half before we start and the balance on delivery, approval or go-live, as your quote states. Monthly plans are billed a month in advance.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Zoe Vet Suite: Fees are billed monthly in advance and are not refundable, in whole or in part. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid, and no further invoices are issued. Nothing in this policy limits any right that the law does not allow to be excluded.

All other work: If you cancel before we start work, we refund your advance in full. Once work has started, the advance pays for the work done and is not refunded; you owe nothing more, and we give you the work completed so far. Care plans and Zoe Vet Suite are month to month and can be cancelled at any time; they end at the end of the month already paid. A website on a monthly fee has the minimum period stated in its written quote (12 months).

5. Costs paid to others

Some costs are paid by you directly to other providers: your domain name, your organisation's AI usage, WhatsApp or Meta messaging charges, and printed copies of books. Your quote lists them.

6. Your material and consent

You confirm that you have the right to use the text, photos, logos and documents you give us. For a book about a living person, we need that person's written consent, or the heirs' consent, before we start.

7. How we use AI

We use AI tools to draft, build and check work, and a person checks it before it reaches you. Books drafted with AI help are declared as AI-generated where a publisher requires it. Songs are made with an AI music tool on a paid plan, with lyrics written by people. AI agents we set up for you run on your own AI account.

8. What you receive

When the work is paid in full, you may use what we deliver for the purpose stated in your quote. Copyright in material generated by AI is uncertain under current law, so we do not promise that copyright exists in those parts, or that it is exclusive to you.

9. Our responsibility

We do the work with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for services run by other providers, such as hosting, AI, payment or messaging services, or for losses caused by them.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day of your quote applies to that order.
